Can I put my membership on hold?
If you are sick, injured, pregnant or part of a risk-group its possible to do so if you can show a medical certificate.
If you are a senior you can pause your membership for at least 30 days and maximum of 365 days without medical certificate.
Can I sign up for a membership for a shorter period than one year with you?
If you want to train for a shorter period of time you can buy an ongoing membership. Then your period of notice will be 2 months at the most. Read more about our memberships and prices here.
How do I know how many members are allowed at my gym?
The limit is based on the size of the gym and information about the maximum number of your gym is clearly displayed in the entrance of the gym. If the limit is reached when you arrive to the gym, please come back at another time or visit one of our other gyms if you have our membership Alla gym.
How do I become a member?
It is easy to become a member on our website, but you need a Swedish personal identification number. We will send you an access card once we have received your registration.
If you do not have Swedish personal identification number, you need to visit the gym when our staff are there. Dates and times are listed on the gym homepage. Click here to find your closest gym.
I’m a member at a different gym – what do I do?
No problem, we offer you free training during the notice period at your current gym (max 3 months). Contact us for assistance or give us a call: 08-549 00 600.
Can I do a free trial workout before I becoming a member?
Yes you can, visit the specific gym page to see that day and time we offer free trial workout.
When can I work out?
We are open 05-23 every day! This applies to all memberships except Senior that is valid between 05-15 every day. Except for Senior, who workout 05-15.
What is your age requirement?
You have to be 18 years old to workout at our gyms. However, if you are 14-15 years old, you may workout with a parent or guardian with a Youth membership. The parent/guardian has to be a current member of the gym. Youth between 16-17 are allowed to train on their own with the Student membership as long as the parent/guardian is a member at the gym or has an “All gym-membership”.
Can I recruit a friend?
Of course! When you recruit a friend you get one free month, and your friends entry fee is waived (400 kr).
The offer is good for annual passes and the gym where you are a member, or any gym if you work out at all of our gyms. You are able to enroll your friend during times when the gym is staffed. See days and times at the website of your gym. Not applicable for Youth. Cannot be combined with other offers and promotions. Your friend must not have had active membership for the last 6 months.
Can I work out at all of your gyms?
Yes, you can! Choose to work out at all our gyms throughout Sweden. Tailor your membership here*. You may also contact us to upgrade your membership.
*To become a member on our website you need a Swedish personal identification number.
Is my gym a Studio, StudioPlus or Grande?
We have gyms of three sizes: Studio, StudioPlus and Grande. You will find a list here.
Do you have member fees?
No, but we have an entry fee (400 kr) when you sign up for the membership. This is a one-time fee as long as you have an active ongoing membership. In the event of an interrupted membership, a new entry fee will be charged.
Can my youth work out with me?
Of course! If you are 14-15 years old, you may workout with a parent or guardian with our Youth membership. The parent/guardian has to be a current member of the gym. As a parent/guardian, youre responsible for ensuring that the minor follows the rules of conduct at the gym. You can work out on group classes or in the gym. Your youth may not work out on their own. The discount is 100 kr/month based on the regular price at the local gym. An entry fee (400 kr) will apply.
Which payment options do you offer?
If you have a Swedish personal identification number, you can choose between direct debit which is deducted on the 28th every month, or an invoice with which you pay for the entire period. An invoice fee of 50 kr will apply.
Payment can only be made via advance payment with invoice if you do not have a Swedish personal identification number. We will send you your access card once the invoice has been paid or when you present an account statement. No invoice fee will apply.
I pay by direct debit – when will the first payment go through?
The first deduction is the 28th of the same month if the start date of the agreement is before the 11th of the current month. The payment includes entry fee and the days of the start month. If the start date is on the 11th or later in the month, the first payment will take place on the 28th of the following month. The payment includes the entry fee, the days of the start month and the monthly fee for the next month. Thereafter, the monthly cost is deducted in advance on the 28th of each month and runs until termination takes place.
Switch gyms?
You can definitely change or move your membership to any of our other gyms. You keep your binding period but a price adjustment may occur depending on the price list of the current gym. You may switch memberships free of charge once a year. We charge 200 kr for each additional switch.
I have lost my access card!
Please contact us immediately if you have misplaced your access card, so that we may block your lost card and send you a new one. Since our cards carry value, there is a new-card charge of 100 kr.
Can I pause my membership?
Yes, you may in certain cases. In case of injury and illness, a medical certificate must be presented. We need to see a maternity certificate if you are pregnant and cannot train. If you are going to start military service, we need a certificate for this. It violates the agreement to pause your membership if you are to work or study at another place where Pulse & Training is not available or abroad. A pause can commence the day we receive and confirm a valid certificate. The pause may last at least 30 days and at most 365 days. The length of the pause is then added onto the end of your contract period. Contact your gym for assistance.
What happens at the end of the binding period?
If paying with direct debit (Swedish personal number required):
The agreement continues when the binding period is over.
If paying by invoice:
One month before the membership expires, a new invoice is sent for an additional training period. If the invoice is not paid, the membership will be ended automatically.
Can I transfer my card to someone else?
You can only transfer your card to someone who is not already a member with us. You should also still be within the binding period of the membership. The person you wish to transfer the card to must comply with the requirements of the agreement (for example, be a student if the agreement is Student). If you have previously paid by invoice, then it is up you and the other person to agree on future payments.
The entry fee (400 kr) is paid by the new member. The transfer enters into force once our staff at Puls & Träning has confirmed the transfer. Memberships purchased through preferential agreements cannot be transferred.
How do I terminate my membership?
If paying with direct debit (Swedish personal number required):
If you pay via direct debit and wish to terminate your membership at the end of the binding period term, you must terminate the membership at least two months before it expires. If you do not, then your membership still applies. After the end of the binding period, Puls & Träning is still entitled to payment. The notice period is two months from the date when termination is confirmed by us.
If paying by invoice:
Puls & Träning does not offer repayment for a paid period unless we have failed in our commitment to provide the chosen gym(s). You have the opportunity to pay for another training period before the membership expires. If the invoice is not paid, the membership will be ended automatically.
Is it okay to lend out my training card to a minor just a few times?
No, minors must always workout with their guardian and possess their own training card.
Additional information about our memberships
The law on distance contracts and agreements outside business premises
Puls & Träning follows the law on distance contracts and agreements outside business premises (2005: 59) with a 14-day right of withdrawal when shopping on the internet within Sweden. Once you have accepted all information and our membership terms, we will send a confirmation to the specified email address within one business day.
Do you offer group training?
We offer group training at our larger and medium-sized gym. You will have access to all our gyms and group training sessions if you choose the gym card “All gyms”. Here you can see which gyms offer group training.

Do you offer personal training or how do I book?
Yes, we do offer personal training. We offer different PT-packages depending on what the goal of your training is and what your body needs are. You can choose to exercise alone with a PT, as well as accompanied by a friend, colleague or family member. Train outdoors, digitally or when its less people at the gym. How do I cancel a session with my personal trainer?
To cancel your session, contact your personal trainer no later than 24 hours before. If not, the full fee will be charged.
Can I use my wellness grant toward personal training?
Of course! The Swedish Tax Agency has changed its interpretation of the rules for wellness grants and now approves its usage for personal training. You can therefore use your wellness grant when purchasing any of the PT-packages available at Puls & Träning.
Can I have a receipt for wellness compensation?
Of course! Contact your gym for assistance on receiving a receipt. If you have paid via invoice, your invoice together with a statement from your bank count as a receipt. A receipt can be provided once we have received your payment.
Can I use my wellness grant toward personal training?
Yes! The Swedish Tax Agency has changed its interpretation of the rules for wellness grants and now approves its usage for personal training. You can therefore use your wellness grant when purchasing any of the PT packages available at Puls & Träning.
Work out in clean shoes
Machines and treadmills are damaged by gravel. The machines are unusable during times of repair, which affects you and the other members. Costs related to repairs and cleaning affect our training prices. It is also no fun to stretch on a gravely carpet.
Leave your training shoes on the premises?
For hygienic reasons, we ask that you bring your shoes home with you.
Cellphone on silent
Out of respect for the other members, we ask that you keep your mobile phone on silent mode. For important calls, walk away and keep a discreet tone so that you do not disturb anyone.
Perfume-free gyms
We want everyone to be able to train with us, this includes those who are allergic to perfumes. Therefore, we ask you not to use perfumes at our gyms.
Wipe off the machines
Use a towel to wipe off the machine after you are done.
Keep your access card handy
Only members with valid access cards are allowed on the premises. Always keep the card close and handy so that you can present it during access card checks. Do not let in any unauthorized person.
Put the equipment back when finished
Working out is much faster when you are able to find the equipment you need.
Do not drop weights on the floor
The neighbors appreciate you putting the weights down carefully.
Can I bring children to the gym?
Yes, if your child is 14-15 years old and signs the training agreement Youth or 16-17 years old and signs the training agreement Student (both agreements can only be signed with a guardian during free trial workout hours). For all other members, the age limit of 18 years applies. There is one exception, sleeping babies in strollers.This applies 05-15 and the stroller must be at the entrance but must not block the exit.
Can I bring animals to the gym?
No, animals are allowed at Puls & Träning gyms.
Security cameras
Puls & Träning has been carrying out gym activities for many years, and our goal is that everyone working out at our gym feels safe. This holds true whether you exercise early in the morning or late at night, alone in the gym or during group training. Everyone can be assured that incidents are documented so that there is no doubt whatsoever about what transpires in the gym, to avoid ”word against word” situations where nothing can be proved. The location of security cameras is restricted to public areas, and there is no recording of sound.
May I let in another member who has forgotten their card?
No, you may not. Anyone accessing the premises must be a member and be able to present a personal access card. If you let someone into the gym, you risk a penalty fee of 400 kr.
What type of equipment do you have at the gym?
Our gyms always have a basic range of cardiovascular machines, strength machines and free weights. We offer different types of other equipment, in addition to the basic range, depending on the size of the gym and the design of the premises.
Tanning beds?
No, we do not have tanning beds at our gyms.
